ADJUSTABLE WORK STANDS
CMT manufactures
a system of synchronized scissors lifts. The air (or electric) operated
controls allow an operator to independently adjust the height of two sets of
two scissors. Each pair of hydraulic scissors lifts travel up and down together
and is self leveling. 
Minimum height
is 7 inches. Maximum height is 25 inches. (18 inches of travel.)
Thus, there can be an independently adjustable
work stand of up to 18 (or more) feet long on each side of your assembly line.
Each pair of stands can support a maximum of 9000 pounds of platform and
associates when extended to 25 inches high. (Of course, as the lifts are
lowered the lift capacity reduces.)
CMT can supply
and install the work stands complete with steps, ramps, and leaning rails. Or, CMT can supply the scissors and control
panel 
alone.
(Allowing your people to bridge the scissors with a platform and add whatever
details are needed.)
The air controlled hydraulic scissors
lifts can be either air or air & electric powered. The photo with the group
of people shows two of the four scissors and a view of the open control
enclosure.
CMT's totally air operated version of the lift system eliminates
the hazards associated with electric systems used in a potentially explosive
atmosphere such as found in the Honda MAP Paint Department.
